The Village of Hales Corners has enacted Ordinance 25-01, which amends Chapter 445 of the Zoning Code. This ordinance creates a new section, 445-2.2E, titled "Uses Not Permitted." It prohibits the sale, gift, transfer, or any other conveyance of cigarettes, electronic vaping devices, and nicotine or tobacco products beyond those licenses currently existing as of February 10, 2025.
The ordinance further establishes Article V concerning the sale and transfer of these products' licenses. The restrictions apply to Chapter 365 on smoking and tobacco products. According to the notice: "NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village of Hales Corners enacted Ordinance 25-01 to amend Chapter 445 – Zoning Code."
