The Village of Greendale has announced plans for road construction and infrastructure improvements as part of its ongoing 10-Year Road & Infrastructure Plan. Several road segments are scheduled for work in the 2025 season, including full road reconstruction and mill and overlay resurfacing.

Full road reconstruction with water main replacement is planned for Brandon Street, Oriole Avenue, Oriole Court, and Industrial Court. In addition, mill and overlay resurfacing will occur on Woodgate Court, Grange Avenue Frontage Road, a section of Northway from Apricot Court to Arbutus Court, Broad Street from Catalpa Street to Conifer Lane, Root River Drive from Rainbow Drive to Rainbow Drive, and Sutton Lane near Eastway.

The Village received five competitive bids for this year's program and awarded the contract to Lalonde Contractors. The project involves a total investment of $3.1 million, with construction expected to take place in phases from April through August.

Residents in areas undergoing construction should anticipate temporary disruptions, including restricted on-street parking and limited driveway access during active work periods. However, garbage and recycling collection services will remain on schedule.

These infrastructure improvements aim to maintain safe and reliable roads and utilities throughout the Village. For additional information or inquiries, DPW Director Rod Damask can be contacted via email at rdamask@greendale.org.
