The Franklin Public Schools (FPS) district has released its latest newsletter, highlighting key updates and events for families and staff. Annalee Bennin extends her gratitude in a message titled "Gratitude & Looking 'Forward'," reflecting on the progress of the Franklin Forward Project. The project updates include timelines and planning details.

The district office will be closed from December 23 to January 1 for the holidays. Families can now access the FPS 2025-26 District Calendar. An upcoming Family Info Series session titled "Let Me Do It By Myself. I Need Help!" is scheduled for January 22, with more sessions planned for winter-spring 2025.

District news includes several notable events: FEF's Excellent Educators Breakfast, P.WATS's FHS "Gold Ride" into retirement, and Erin McCarthy's involvement in decorating the White House for the holidays. Details about FHS Graduation 2025 have been announced, alongside a feature on a student home build project. A Festival of Bands featuring grades 6-12 is set for January 11.

Additionally, information about FPS school closures and on-site therapy clinics available to students was provided. Student and family assistance is available through Aurora.

The Saber Center for the Performing Arts will host "Oliver! Jr" along with other upcoming events. The Community Education & Recreation Winter-Spring Guide is now online with open registration.

Board of Education updates include collaborations such as Friends of Franklin: Anodyne Coffee & The Beyond 18 Program. Recent board briefs were shared from December 11, with the next meeting scheduled for January 15, 2025.

FPS also invites community engagement through various events and flyers while extending best wishes for a successful year ahead in 2025.
