Registration for the Franklin Public Schools Summer Learning Program will commence on Tuesday, January 21st at noon. The program is available to students entering grades 1 through 12 in fall 2025 and will run from Monday, June 16th to Thursday, July 17th. Classes are scheduled from Monday to Thursday with no sessions on Fridays.

Students moving into the sixth grade will attend the middle school program, while those advancing to ninth grade will participate in the high school program. Registration closes on Sunday, February 9th at 11:59 pm and is not based on a first-come, first-served basis. Instead, course requests will be assessed after the registration window closes and students will be assigned by lottery according to course availability.

Families of selected students will need to confirm their interest. Students not initially chosen will be placed on waitlists and may be offered seats depending on student commitments, class size, and staffing levels.

In addition to the regular Summer Learning Program, registration for both the Sixth Grade Transition Course and Ninth Grade Transition Course also opens on January 21st. These two-day events aim to help students acclimate to their new school buildings, meet peers, and engage with staff.

Further information about courses can be found on the Summer Learning Program webpage. Assistance is available by contacting the summer registrar via email at summer.learning@franklin.k12.wi.us or by phone at 414-529-8233.

"Thank you," states FPS Communications.
