Teachers on Call has announced its partnership with a local school district to offer opportunities for individuals interested in becoming substitute teachers. The initiative is designed to inspire and support students by providing them with dedicated substitutes who are committed to their success.

The organization emphasizes that prior teaching experience is not required. Instead, they seek individuals with a strong desire to help students excel. Interested candidates can apply through an online application process available on the Teachers on Call website.

After submitting the application, candidates will receive an automated email with interview instructions. Following the interview, new hires will be guided through completing necessary paperwork, training sessions, and obtaining any required educational or certification documents. A criminal background check will also be conducted at no cost to the applicants.

Upon successful completion of these steps and passing the background check, candidates can begin working as substitutes. They will receive orientation resources and access to the Absence Management system, allowing them to view and accept assignments within their chosen districts.

For further inquiries or additional information about becoming a substitute teacher in the school district, interested individuals are encouraged to contact Teachers on Call via email at tocrecruiting@teachersoncall.com or by phone at 800-713-4439.
