FEMA offers disaster aid for Greenfield residents impacted by August flooding

Residents of Greenfield affected by flooding in August 2025 may be eligible for disaster assistance from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The aid is intended to help cover costs that are not addressed by insurance.

Individuals can apply for FEMA individual assistance, which may include home repairs, cleaning, short-term accommodations, or replacement of personal property. Applications can be submitted online at www.DisasterAssistance.gov.

Applicants will need to provide contact information, an email address, their address at the time of the disaster and their current location, Social Security number, a general list of damage and losses, banking information if direct deposit is preferred, and insurance details if applicable.
