Greenfield officials have announced temporary changes to the operations of the city’s Drop Off Center in response to recent flooding. The facility, managed by John's Disposal, will be open Monday through Thursday from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm and on Saturday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.

Only materials related to flood damage will be accepted at this time. Residents are advised that yard waste, regular trash, and recyclables are not being accepted during this period.

The usual requirement for a Drop Off Center Key Card has been suspended temporarily. Residents who receive regular trash pickup service through the City can arrange for special pick-ups by calling John's Disposal at 888-473-4701.

Users of the Drop Off Center must unload their own vehicles. All loose items need to be placed in bags or containers that can be easily handled. Carpeting should be cut and rolled into sections no longer than four feet and weighing less than fifty pounds.

The Drop Off Center is located at 4551 S 52nd Street, Greenfield, WI 53220.
