The community is set to celebrate the groundbreaking of a new pool facility on July 9, 2025. The facility will include both a community pool and a competition pool, catering to various needs such as swim lessons, fitness programs, recreational swimming, and competitive meets.
The event will be held at Oak Creek High School from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM. In case of rain, the ceremony will be postponed to July 10. Attendees are invited to gather in the "ballway" between the Ninth Grade Center and the main High School Building.
Community members, including students and families, are encouraged to participate in this significant occasion. The event will feature remarks from speakers, a ceremonial soil turning, and light refreshments.
The initiative aims to enhance swimming opportunities and strengthen community ties through shared activities.
