On Friday, Feb. 14, former St. Thomas More High School standout Dylan O'Connell’s current college team, the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Illinois State Redbirds.

The game took place at Nick Denes Field. This was their second matchup against the Redbirds this season.

The Hilltoppers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 3 p.m. at Nick Denes Field against Lafayette Leopards.
