Jessie Rodriguez, an active figure in community engagement and public service, shared her recent experiences through a series of tweets. Her posts highlighted her involvement in events honoring veterans and inspiring figures, as well as engaging with young students interested in government.

On May 2, 2025, Rodriguez tweeted about presenting Shelley Wynveen with the "WWIG Rising Star Award". Wynveen is recognized for her service as a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and her current role as the Calumet Veterans Service Officer. In this capacity, she aids veterans and their families in securing benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs and Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs.

In another tweet on the same day, Rodriguez expressed admiration for Retired Lt. Col. Olga Custodio after meeting her at an event where Custodio was the keynote speaker. She noted that "Lt. Col. Custodio served in the U.S. Air Force for 24 years as a T-38 pilot, becoming America's first Latina fighter pilot!" Rodriguez commended Custodio's speech on persistence and resilience.

Rodriguez also tweeted about hosting students from St. Charles Borromeo School at the Capitol on May 2, 2025. She thanked them for visiting and showing interest in state governance by stating "Thank you for making the trip and taking an interest in state government!"
