The Village of Hales Corners has announced an open position for a Health Department Administrator / Nurse. The role involves planning, organizing, and directing the activities of the Health Department, which manages a comprehensive public health program for all community age groups. Key responsibilities include providing direct public health nursing services, environmental protection, disease prevention, health education, wellness programs, school district liaison roles, and nursing services. The position includes supervision of 0.5 Full-Time Equivalents (FTE).

Applicants are required to have a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from a National League of Nursing accredited institution and must hold a valid Wisconsin Registered Nurse license in good standing with the Wisconsin Department of Safety & Professional Service. Experience in a public health setting is highly desirable. The salary range for the position is between $76,153 and $92,145, depending on qualifications.
