Leaves are only permitted to be raked into the curb during the Fall Leaf Collection, as a reminder to residents. It is prohibited to place yard waste, leaves, or grass in the street right-of-way or the terrace area between the street and the City sidewalk. Violating this regulation could result in a $160 fine.
Currently, the City Recycling Center is operating under its summer hours schedule for dropping off yard waste. The center is open on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, Mondays between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm, and Wednesdays from 9:30 am to 11:30 am.
