HERMLE AG is set to unveil its latest advancements in automation technology at the upcoming Open House event in May 2025. The company, known for over 25 years of innovation, will introduce the RS 2 GEN2 robot system. This system includes a double hybrid gripper, automatic clamping jaw change, and new rack modules tailored for the C 32 five-axis machining center.
Following the successful release of GEN2 versions of their C 650, C 32, and C 42 models in 2024, HERMLE will present three additional GEN2 models: the C 250 and C 400 from the Performance-Line series and the C 22 from the High-Performance-Line series. "This means that six of the nine basic models are now provided as GEN2 versions," with plans to launch GEN2 models of the C 12, C 52, and C 62 before September's EMO trade fair.
The Technology and Training Centre will showcase not only the RS 2 GEN2 but also other HERMLE automation solutions such as HS flex systems and various robot systems. These demonstrations will be open daily from May 13 to May 16 at HERMLE's Gosheim location.
Visitors can expect live demonstrations of machining centers producing components across diverse industries. Highlights include aerospace structural components, medical orthosis models, tool dies, mechanical sprockets, model cuckoo clocks, and sports industry ski bindings.
The event also offers guided factory tours and technical presentations. Attendees can gain insights into HERMLE's production facilities and learn about their additive manufacturing subsidiary's offerings. The User College will provide training opportunities in programming concepts.
