The Village Board has allocated funds in the 2025 Budget for new playground equipment at the Community Center Park. Following a community survey on various options, the Board approved the project's budget and design.
This spring, new playground equipment will be installed on two pods at Greendale Community Center Park. The Department of Public Works (DPW) staff will begin removing existing equipment in March to start the project as soon as weather conditions allow. The two southern pods will be closed throughout March and remain closed until installation is complete. Weather permitting, the new equipment is expected to be ready by the end of May.
"Thank you for your patience and understanding," stated a representative from the Village Board. "We are excited to bring new playground equipment to the community this summer."
