The Cudahy School District has announced the achievements of its students in the Continental Math League, a competition that is part of their Talent Development Program. A total of 62 students from grades 2 through 6 participated in this event, which included the first meet for 2nd and 3rd graders and the third meet for 4th to 6th graders.

Students from Jones, Kosciuszko, Lincoln, and General Mitchell Elementary Schools competed in this nationwide mathematics competition alongside numerous districts across the United States. The district has three teams participating.

The district highlighted several accomplishments following the latest meet:

The sixth-grade team holds second place in Wisconsin. "A special shout-out goes to Evan from J.E. Jones who had the highest individual score on the Cudahy Team this Meet," said a district representative. Evan and Jerrel from General Mitchell are tied for the highest overall sixth-grade score in Cudahy after all three rounds.

The fifth-grade team has maintained third place in Wisconsin. Elias from Kozy achieved the highest individual fifth-grade score in Cudahy for this round. Peyton and Colin from General Mitchell are tied for the highest overall fifth-grade score after all three rounds, with Josie from Lincoln trailing by just one point.

The third-grade team is ranked second in Wisconsin after their first meet. Helen from Kozy scored the highest individual third-grade score in Cudahy, while Athena from General Mitchell was only one point behind her.

"We are incredibly proud of all 62 students in our Talent Development program who participated in this Meet," stated a spokesperson for the school district. The next round of competition is already underway.
