On December 7, 2024, Steil expressed gratitude towards his fall interns as their semester neared completion. He thanked them for their hard work in a post stating, "Another intern semester nearly in the books. Thank you to our fall interns for your hard work."
The following day, December 8, 2024, Steil met with leaders from the National Alliance on Mental Illness in Wisconsin. He appreciated their efforts in addressing mental health issues and stated, "Great to meet with Wisconsin leaders of the National Alliance on Mental Illness. Thank you for your work to fight the stigma associated with mental health and expand resources for those in need."
Later that same day, Steil emphasized the importance of returning government employees to office settings at both state and federal levels. His statement read: "Getting government employees back to the office needs to be a priority for the state and federal government!"
