The Village of Hales Corners has announced a voting system audit scheduled for November 26, 2024. The audit will take place at the James Ryan Municipal Building, located at 5635 S. New Berlin Road, starting at 8:00 a.m.
This audit is conducted under Wis. Stat. § 7.08 and the Help America Vote Act of 2002 (52 U.S.C. § 21081). The reporting unit to be audited includes Wards 1, 2, and 3, which utilize the DS200 Tabulator and Express Vote Accessible Voting Equipment systems.
The Wisconsin Elections Commission randomly selected the reporting unit and contests for this audit.
