Milwaukee County’s Office of Emergency Management has a webpage that is dedicated to providing data on Countywide EMS activity.  The information can be sorted by date, municipality, race/ethnicity, age range, or EMS Agency.  The data is refreshed at 1:00 p.m. each Friday.  For this year, the Cudahy Fire Department has had a total of 1,951 patient encounters.  The last 30 days we have had 165, which is 31 more than the same period last year.  The department has done a total of 1,478 transports, with 126 total the last 30 days (up 29 from same period as last year).  The data toll can be found by going here: https://county.milwaukee.gov/.../Offic.../EMS/Data-Analytics

Employ Milwaukee is offering individuals age 14-24 opportunities to work 20 hours per week to learn a skill as part of their Earn and Learn program.  Information about the program can be found here: https://www.employmilwaukee.org/.../Earn--Learn-Summer....

We are in the process of hiring summer seasonal Public Works employees. The season begins in May and pay begins at $14.34/hour.  Application information can be found here: https://www.cudahy-wi.gov/job.../seasonal_employment.php.  Any questions can be directed to the Public Works Department at cudahydpw@cudahy-wi.gov.

On Tuesday, the Design Review Board approved the design of a new sign for Cudahy Christian Church at 3677 E. Pulaski Ave.

Also on Tuesday, the Plan Commission approved a conditional use permit for Ruiz Towing and Auto Repair located at 4719-4725 S. Nicholson Ave.

Meetings for Next Week

The Common Council will be meeting on Tuesday, March 21 at 7:00 p.m.  Items on the agenda include:

Public hearing and potential action on a map amendment and rezoning request for 3244 E. Public hearing and potential action on an ordinance to amend Sec. 44-903 regarding accessory uses and structures.  The change would allow for up to two accessory structures in the Institutional zoning district. Public hearing and potential action on a resolution to vacate and discontinue a part of the public right of way at approximately 5326 S.
