On Wednesday, October 19, the Common Council approved the preliminary financing plan for the proposed new combined fire station. The project, initially approved in January 2022 include the construction of a new fire station, to be at the current location of Fire Station 2 on Ramsey Avenue. Over the past five months, City staff, architects from FGMA and consultants from the Concord Group have worked to develop a station designed based upon the departments current and future anticipated needs.
