Franklin home prices rose in May

The median sale price of a home sold in May in Franklin rose by $37,500 while total sales increased by 4.2 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May, there were 75 homes sold, with a median sale price of $305,000 - a 14 percent increase over the $267,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 72 homes sold in Franklin in May 2021.

The median sales tax in Franklin for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $5,881, approximately 1.9 percent of the median home sale price for May.
