Franklin home prices rose in April

The median sale price of a home sold in April in Franklin rose by $49,500 while total sales decreased by 29.1 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April, there were 56 homes sold, with a median sale price of $314,500 - an 18.7 percent increase over the $265,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 79 homes sold in Franklin in April 2021.

The median sales tax in Franklin for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $5,881, approximately 1.9 percent of the median home sale price for April.
