WEST ALLIS FIRE DEPARTMENT AT THE FAIR

Visitors of the 2021 Wisconsin State Fair will again be protected by paramedics and EMTs from the West Allis Fire Department. The WAFD will provide dedicated Fire and EMS coverage for the entire duration of the Fair. Personnel will staff utility task vehicles (UTVs) inside the fairgrounds to quickly and efficiently assess, treat, and transport patients suffering from medical emergencies. Although the UTVs are much smaller than an ambulance, they are equipped with the same medical equipment and medications and are able to navigate through crowds with ease

WAFD will also be providing Hands-Only CPR education at the 2021 Wisconsin State Fair. Personnel will be teaching each day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. near gate 2 (located between the Expo building and the Grandstands). Anyone can learn these lifesaving skills, don't wait until it's too late! Training equipment will be sanitized between each use.
