Jessie Rodriguez, a Republican elected to the Wisconsin State House in 2013 to represent the 21st House district, recently used her social media platform to discuss key elements of the 2025-27 state budget and community priorities.
On September 22, 2025, Rodriguez posted, “I asked what should be the top priorities for the 2025-27 state budget. The top 3 answers? Cut taxes Fix roads & bridges Improve public safety I’m proud to say this budget delivers on all three. (3/?)”
The following day, she addressed fiscal policy concerns in another post: “In February, the Governor proposed raising taxes by over $3 billion and increasing spending by 20%. But my survey results showed: that’s not what our community wants. Instead, we built a budget that lives within our means and reflects your priorities. (4/?)” This statement referenced both the governor’s proposal and feedback gathered from constituents.
Also on September 23, Rodriguez highlighted a resource for residents interested in local seasonal activities: “Check out @TravelWI’s Fall Color Report! This is a great tool to help you plan ways to take in Wisconsin’s beautiful fall colors this season.”
Rodriguez has represented Wisconsin’s 21st House district since her election in 2013, succeeding Mark Honadel.
