Jessie Rodriguez, a Republican elected to the Wisconsin State House in 2013 and representing the 21st district, recently shared updates on legislative and constituent initiatives through her social media account.
On October 2, 2025, Rodriguez posted about a housing-related bill: “AB 454 was heard in the Housing & Real Estate Committee on Tuesday. It creates a Workforce Home Loan Program at @WiscHousing, which will help families afford the upfront costs of buying a home by providing 0% loans (up to $60K or 25% of the home’s value) to first-time home buyers”. The post details provisions of AB 454, highlighting support for first-time home buyers through zero-interest loans administered by the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority.
Later that day, Rodriguez expressed appreciation for committee members: “Thank you to the members of the Assembly Committee on Housing & Real Estate for their unanimous support of AB 454! I look forward to seeing the bill continue to move through the legislative process.” This indicates bipartisan committee backing as AB 454 advances.
In another update on October 2, Rodriguez referenced an annual state publication: “The 2025-26 Wisconsin Blue Books have arrived, and I’m getting ready to get them out to constituents who have requested one! Use the link in my bio to join the list if you haven’t already.” The Wisconsin Blue Book is published biennially and provides information about state government and officials.
Rodriguez has represented her district since succeeding Mark Honadel in 2013.
