Bryan Steil, a U.S. Congressman representing Wisconsin’s 1st District since 2019, recently shared his insights on digital assets through a series of tweets. Born in Janesville, Wisconsin in 1981 and currently residing there, Steil holds degrees from Georgetown University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He took over from Paul Ryan in Congress and has been active in legislative discussions surrounding digital innovation.

On March 7, 2025, Steil expressed optimism about the future of digital assets, attributing progress to leadership efforts by prominent figures. He stated: “The Golden Age of Digital Assets is here, thank you @POTUS and @davidsacks47 for the invitation and your leadership on this issue. Looking forward to a great conversation.”

Later that day, he participated in a White House roundtable discussion focused on digital assets. His commitment to creating regulatory frameworks was evident as he noted: “At the @WhiteHouse Digital Asset Roundtable today. I’m working to write clear rules for innovators in the US that support competition, prevent fraud, and give investors certainty.”

In another tweet posted later that evening, Steil indicated his readiness to collaborate with President Trump to enhance America’s position in the digital asset sector: “Ready to work with President Trump to make the U.S. a leader in digital assets.”
