Bryan Steil, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Wisconsin’s 1st district since 2019, has shared his views on various issues through recent social media posts. Steil, who succeeded Paul Ryan in Congress and holds degrees from Georgetown University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, has expressed his commitment to maintaining the United States’ leadership in market spaces, working with regulatory bodies on digital assets, and strengthening electoral processes.

On January 21, 2025, Bryan Steil emphasized the importance of preventing fraud and protecting customers while ensuring that “the U.S. remains a leader in the market space.” “We need to make sure that we’re doing a couple of things in the space — one, preventing fraud, protecting customers, and two, really importantly, ensuring the U.S. remains a leader in the market space.”

Later that day, Steil expressed his eagerness to collaborate with Commissioner Hester Peirce and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to safeguard consumers and provide clarity on digital asset regulation. “I look forward to working with Commissioner @HesterPeirce and the SEC to protect consumers and provide much-needed clarity on the regulation of digital assets in the U.S.”

On January 22, 2025, as Chairman of the Committee on House Administration, Steil highlighted his dedication to enhancing election processes and maintaining accessibility at Capitol Hill for all Americans. He also acknowledged Speaker Johnson’s support in these efforts. “As Chairman of the Committee on House Administration, I am excited to continue working to strengthen our elections and ensure the Capitol is open and accessible for all Americans. I thank @SpeakerJohnson for his support.”
