Bryan Steil, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Wisconsin’s 1st district since 2019, has recently made several statements on social media regarding significant political and legislative developments. Born in Janesville, Wisconsin, in 1981, Steil succeeded Paul Ryan and holds degrees from Georgetown University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

On March 25, 2025, Bryan Steil announced via Twitter that “We’re ending chokepoint 2.0 and preventing the politicization of banking access.”

Later that day, he expressed support for an executive order by President Trump through another tweet, stating: “President Trump’s Executive Order is a welcome action to secure our elections and prevent foreign influence. As Chairman of @HouseAdmin, my priority has been increasing Americans’ confidence in our elections. I look forward to working with @POTUS on this critical issue.”
