Bryan Steil, a U.S. Congressman representing Wisconsin’s 1st District since 2019, has recently shared his perspectives on various topics through a series of tweets. Steil, who succeeded Paul Ryan and holds degrees from Georgetown University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, has been actively engaging with community members and addressing national policy issues.

On February 4, 2025, Steil highlighted his engagement with the National Federation of the Blind of Wisconsin. He emphasized the importance of ensuring that all community members receive adequate support. “Great conversation with the National Federation of the Blind of Wisconsin to make sure all members of our community have the support they need.”

The following day, February 5, 2025, Steil criticized former President Biden’s regulatory policies. He expressed optimism about reducing costs now that these policies are no longer in effect. “Biden’s aggressive regulatory agenda drove up costs. Now that we have escaped the horrific policies of the Biden Admin, we can start to bring costs down.”

On February 6, 2025, Steil addressed financial institutions’ involvement with digital assets. He argued against penalizing these institutions for participating in digital asset markets. “Financial institutions should not be punished for engaging in digital assets.”
