City of West Allis issued the following announcement on April 7.

An exciting new leg of the 2022 Tour of America’s Dairyland is hitting the streets of West Allis! This annual 11-day bike race was founded in 2009 and brings tours to 11 different communities in Southeast Wisconsin, making it the largest competitive road cycling series in the nation. However, this is the first time it is coming to the City of West Allis!

Tuesday, June 21 will feature a Becher Street neighborhood route for the “Cheese Wheel Classic” brought to you by West Allis Cheese and Sausage Shoppe. We are so excited for this race, brought to you in partnership with the City of West Allis and presented by New Glarus.

When:

 Tues., June 21, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., however, races start at 11 a.m.
